Conditions of use of the Sock Shop website. Your access to and use of the Sock Shop website - this site- is subject to the following terms and conditions which, by accessing and browsing this site, you accept without any limitation or qualification.

Please note, our website is a UK site and therefore value added tax is included in the price. However, in order to avoid the technical issue of the site being able to differentiate between clients who are in the EEC or outside, the way we compensate you for the VAT is by charging you less for the postage.  If we did deduct the VAT, it would mean that we would have to charge more for the postage and in some cases our clients may be slightly better off or worse off but the difference will not be significant.

Apologies in advance for our lack of apostrophe in the term "mens socks" throughout the site. We are aware that this is not accurate, however, the way our website is set up an apostrophe causes us some technical problems.

Giveaway Terms and Conditions

By entering into this giveaway all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the following rules.
No purchase necessary
1) Entrants must be 18 or over and all entries must be made from within the United Kingdom. All entrants consent to our contacting them about our products.
2) All employees of SockShop and their respective subsidiaries and associated companies, their immediate families and anyone involved in the promotion of the competition are excluded from entry.
3) Only one application may be made per person. SockShop will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them. The prize shall be awarded at SockShop’s discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the competition it reserves the right to refuse to award any prize. No purchase is
necessary. SockShop is not responsible for lost entries, delayed entries or mistransmitted entries.
6. The closing date for entries is midday 06/02/2012. The prize draw will take place no later
than 07/02/2012 and the winner will be seclected at random. 
7. SockShop will notify the winner by email by 07/02/2012.
8. The prize will consist of 6 x SockShop Colour Burst socks and SockShop intends to send the prize to the winner no later than 10/02/2012. In the event of the prize being unavailable for any reason outside SockShop's control SockShop reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value. 
9. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.
10. SockShop’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. SockShop reserves the right to publish the name of the winner in a Facebook post. The winner will cooperate with publicity as a result of winning. 
12. The promoter of this prize draw is SockShop.
