Confucius highlights sock confusion

One writer has quoted Confucius in her quest to get to the bottom of her ills, with the famous Chinese philosopher stating: "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated."

After waking up every morning to go through a sock drawer which fails to turn up a matching pair of gym socks, she confirmed that when her socks come out of the laundry, they simply don't return in pairs.
As a result, Ms Cahn has had enough and said that while it opposes her "moral fibre", she's getting rid of her socks and simplifying her problem by buying the same pair of socks a dozen or so times so that in the dark, she has no problem locating a matching set.
The Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto recently revealed that it is opening its newest exhibition, Socks: Between You and Your Shoes, which will provide an insight into the remarkable world and history of footwear.
