Dark tights 'wrong'; leggings and fishnets 'right'
Dark clothing on the legs looks wrong in the summer, and with more sun on the way in the summer, people need to consider the different ways they are going to dress, it is said.

While evenings and colder summer days will still be all about tights, people should be more inclined to go out bare-legged, according to the Times. After all, as it 2010, "porcelain (aka pale) is supposed to be in".

Lisa Armstrong, the fashion expert for the newspaper, said that people ought to assimilate bare legs slowly and never dismiss leggings.

Commenting on the trend, she said: "After heated debate, the Times fashion desk has decided they're classics. Trousers cropped at the ankle are a first step or, if you're daring, a maxi skirt are two more options."

Flesh-coloured fishnets could also be an option, Ms Armstrong added.

Recently, Madonna and her daughter Lourdes stepped out on the red carpet and proved that the younger of the two was able to pull off the ripped tights look to perfection.
