Socks with sandals 'could be done'

Sometimes, the fashion world is prone to doing complete u-turns on what is great looking on the catwalk, yet many would argue that some taboos should never, ever be broken.
One is socks and sandals. While many people turn their noses up at the style - rightly so, perhaps - FabSugar in Australia is again attempting to reopen the debate.
It argued that the correct choice of legwear for the shoe type is "a very valid question". The site continued: "I know, I can't believe I'm asking myself this very question, either."
The website believed that there are a couple of online resources in particular that offer anything from sheer to sparkly socks, though "ribbed, thick, thin, printed and even toe socks" are available for styles that could be perfect to wear with any footwear - so long as people are feeling adventurous enough to defy tradition.
Rihanna was recently spotted on the red carpet wearing ankle socks and heels - looking surprisingly adept at carrying the style.
