Office party is 'great opportunity' for hosiery-based style

Caryn Franklin, fashion and beauty guru as well as the presenter of Clothes Show Live, said that women always have more chance to show their personality through their clothing choice when at a party to more of an extent than men in the same position.
She said that party dresses can often be too revealing or provocative though not necessarily the best solution for a "confident display of flair" in the workplace, so it stands to reason that people should show less flesh.
Ms Franklin said that by power-dressing a cocktail dress with bold accessories instead of skimpy figure-hugging pieces - while also embracing tights or leggings - women stand to gain a lot in terms of looks.
"Make sure the clothes and hosiery are dark and the necklace bright or colourful and eye-catching," she continued. "With such an oversized eye-catching accessory people won't be looking at the rest of your clothes so you can keep them understated if you wish."
