New book puts red tube socks out of bounds

Want to ensure you get through a relationship on basic fashion grounds? Then don't invest in any red footwear, according to a brand new book for men and women alike.
Grazia revealed that the recent release, Undateable, serves as "a field manual of fashion faux pas guaranteed to get you dumped before dessert" and has been compiled by Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle.
Among the major bans being enforced by the pair include novelty belt buckles, male bandanas known as "mandanas", Speedos and hosiery in the form of red tube socks.
It adds to the work put together by one-time lovers Marisa Pinson and Dave Horwitz, Grazia continued, with the pair claiming that other personal faults - picky eating and poor personal hygiene - are just as bad.
"[These traits] are usually indicative of a much larger problem. You rarely find a scintillating, fascinating, brilliant sexy person wearing Crocs," Mr Horwitz added.
If red tube socks are ruled out, Eddie Worrilow, a fashion-forward Delaware resident, recently told Delaware Style Files how argyle-patterned socks are the best way to turn heads.
