Karen Millen, in her company blog, revealed that she is a major hoarder of items on certain days and in order to match this demand for commodities on the move, a huge bag is necessary to lug all these items around in style.
And one thing in particular is needed in any self-respecting girl's bag: an emergency pair of tights, she asserted.
Ms Millen explained that helpful hosiery should always be to hand in any situation in case laddering occurs or the relentless British weather affects a woman's leg warmth, listing it with the likes of her iPhone, makeup, perfume and laptop in terms of essentials.
This week, Karen also described faded biker jeans as an "urban classic" and a piece of clothing that should be in wardrobes across the country.
