Tights right for colder days

Wearing shorts and t-shirts is normally a pretty casual look that you wouldn't want to wear for an evening out, but the Independent has some useful advice to make the most the look.
The newspaper says that tan is "the colour of the season" and advises women to go for a pair of shorts in the colour teamed with a colourful t-shirt tucked in.
This look can be paired with leggings or tights on colder days, the paper adds.
Or if you are not too keen on revealing a spot of leg, then longer shorts may be the right option.
Someone not afraid to show off her legs is pop singing sensation Lady Gaga, who recently angered Beatles fans by playing John Lennon's piano in a pair of fishnet tights and a black leotard.
