Florence gets in the festival mood with a pair of socks
Published: 16th June 2010
Florence and the Machine front-woman Flo Welch eschewed the normal festival get-up of a pair of green wellies, instead opting for a pair of socks and open-toed shoes.
The You've Got The Love singer was at the Isle of Wight Festival showing off her unusual approach to the socks and sandals debate.
It seems the star also has a slightly strange take on head wear, tweeting that she spent a whole morning with a wet towel around her head - as a hangover cure from drinking a touch too much champagne.
The Twitter fan let us in on the more glamorous side of being a pop star, telling fans: "Side of stage for Jay-Z with Beyonce, Kanye West and Chris Martin, we all just cheered each other, totally weird, totally amazing."
Perhaps she wasn't aware that her choice of socks with open-toe shoes was one of the reason behind Brits being classed as the worst-dressed tourists, according to a survey by TripAdvisor.com.
