Leggings look is 'questionable' on X Factor singer
Published: 24th March 2009
X Factor finalist Ruth Lorenzo was striding proudly through the streets of Dublin in wet-look leggings this week, although it wasn't as successful as the same look on her TV counterparts, it is said.
The singer, who is notably happy with her curves to the point where she finds the idea of dropping below ten stone to be alarming, paired the legwear with red high heels and leather jacket - much to the chagrin of the Daily Mail.
It noted that "it seems the error of her ways dawned on her as she walked along the street and at one point she tried to hide her derriere with her large red bag".
However, the newspaper stated that despite her fashion faux-pas, her cohorts Cheryl Cole and Alexandra Burke are adept at pulling off the look, using them more modestly with longer tops.
According to Shudoo, both Alexandra and Ruth are rumoured to have had a shouting match over a dancer from the show, putting tension between the pair who became firm friends in the X Factor.
