Knee-high socks are 'micro trend'

There are a lot of trends kicking around the catwalks of the world as we speak, but the topic of legs is being constantly addressed with a number of styles. This week, one expert believes they have the answer to any problems relating to covering those pins.
Lauren Sherman of the Fashionista blog explained that the sheer tights of Marni and the knitted hosiery of Prada have proved there to be more than enough space for people to adopt knee-high socks on streets around the world.
She said of the trend: "I plan on layering mine over textured tights and maybe even with a bare leg for early fall. Will you succumb to the knee-high trend or let it pass you by?"
Last month, reporting from New York City's fashion week, Treena Nicole Fischer of the Daily Cardinal said that the main trend for the autumn would be "tights, tights, tights".
