Tights with shorts are 'key fashion trend'

Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller: all celebrities that have one popular style in common, according to a leading fashion outlet.
StyleList this week explained that such Hollywood superstars are showing plenty of leg in the spring as they are pairing summer shorts or cut-offs with tights, highlighting how they want to rock the new seasonal look despite it still being a little chilly.
Celebrity stylist Toni Ferrara, who has worked with Jaime King and Sophia Bush, said that the shorts and tights trend is the new jean look for 2010.
She asserted to StyleList: "Most body types can pull this off with ease, although if you are not a fan of your legs, I'd suggest doing torn up jeans instead.
"It's very cute to see this look paired with an over-the-knee heel to add a touch of rock 'n' roll."
Recently, the Times noted how Nicole Richie is able to create fantastic designs for her range of new clothes, adding that her personal look is "boho meets sex kitten".
