Top model and actress Lily Cole ditched her normally racy catwalk outfits for something a bit more comfortable when spotted on her way to an exam in Cambridge.
Sporting a pair of loafers and beige socks, she looked "every inch the history of art student," according to the Daily Mirror.
The St Trinian's actress was about to sit an exam for her history of art degree at Cambridge and no doubt had more than just fashion on her mind.
Perhaps she was trying to emulate singer Rhianna, who recently took to the red carpet in socks and heels.
Clashing together different styles, like mixing socks with high heels is part of a growing fashion trend, according to Natalia Colman, a stylist at Stylespecialists.co.uk.
She said lots of young people are copying their fashion idols in order to make a statement.
