Black tights are 'fashion forward'

Women wanting to seal the deal with one of their outfits this winter should again look to the world of legwear if they are to dominate the pavements of towns and cities up and down the country.
Using 20-year-old Harriet Loader as the perfect example of a stranger with the right idea for the autumn/winter look for 2009, Grazia explained that it is her sheer black tights which make her overall item particularly "fashion-forward".
She paired them with a charity shop black cape and a floral minidress usually more suited to the summer, making the overall outfit flexible and cheap to replicate.
To top it off, young Harriet even wore a knitwear "lifted straight from grandma", making an unwitting fashion icon out of her predecessor.
Last week, a much more overstated look was adopted by Rihanna, who wore stockings and suspenders as part of a sassy outfit for the video to Russian Roulette, her newest single.
