Knee-high socks for Kirsten's Japanese look
Published: 07th September 2009
In a new music video shoot for a leading art house, Kirsten Dunst doesn't pull any punches with her choice of colours in the outfit she chose for the shoot.
After all, the Spiderman and Virgin Suicides starlet wandered around Akihabara, Tokyo in a concoction of neon colours including a bright blue wig, electric pink skirt, glittery red heels and a colourful umbrella.
The highlight of the outfit, however, was perhaps the choice of legwear, with the star wearing gingham-patterned knee-high socks to complete the psychedelic schoolgirl look for her fans and mystified onlookers.
Directed by Terminator Salvation expert McG - full name Joseph McGinty Nichol - the video will form part of an exhibition which will be run inside Tate Modern later this year.
McG is behind another few blockbuster films in his career such as Charlie's Angels, though was thoroughly panned for his proposed re-imagining of Simon Pegg's classic British comedy Spaced, which even angered the show's original creators.
