SockShop looks to expand to second store

The popularity of SockShop's first retail store at Manchester Airport is setting the organisation up for another possible outlet in the near future, according to a new interview with the owners.
Speaking to local paper the Bolton News, the Ruia brothers explained that passengers at the terminal love the option to invest in socks, tights and other hosiery when stepping off the plane.
It is hoped the company will continue to grow from its online foundations, which were developed soon after the Ruias bought the brand when it hit the buffers and dropped into administration.
Alok Ruia, one of the four brothers, told the Bolton News: "We have been making socks for the wholesale market for 30 years and the Sock Shop at the airport will hopefully be one of many.
"But we will grow the business slowly and carry on selling online as well as wholesaling the SockShop brand to retailers."
During the summer, SockShop appointed Tamba as part of a digital drive, creating a digital game - Sock It - which is now available to shoppers online.
