Tights are 'hot trend for cold weather'

As the weather gets colder, women across the northern hemisphere will be looking for the best way to stay fashionable while maintaining warmth when out and about.
The best way to achieve this? Wearing tights, according to Staci Reynolds of the Examiner, who maintains that by pairing bold coloured tights with a solid black dress, women can look great and keep themselves toasty.
She continued: "This look works for evening, and with a more casual style black dress, is appropriate for day as well. If you aren't brave enough to go with red, opaque tights are sold in pretty much every colour of the rainbow."
Ms Spade added that if a bright colour is being chosen for tights, the accompanying dress should be monochrome in one way or another as this will make the legwear jump out.
Last week, Kate Moss was unveiled as the face of Topshop and donned a pair of laddered tights, using the style to devastating effect.
