Tights are making 'huge comeback'

Tights are here to stay, ladies and gentlemen, so you might as well just accept that they'll be part of your fashion fix, according to one writer this month.
Shane Watson of the Times explained that much of the time, tights have been out of sight aside from opaques, which "don't count" in regards to fashion as so many people use them as a remarkably malleable fashion accessory.
It's a different story this season, though, with the expert continuing: "Now, in one unstoppable rush, tights are making a comeback: fancy, embellished ones; sheer, barely black ones; lacy ones; patterned ones; semi-sheer ones scattered with raised dots; cobweb-knitted ones - you name it, they're out there."
He gave a raft of reasons as to why they're addictive in terms of style, noting how they are sexy, how colourful offerings must be worn with thigh boots and because designers are going out of their way to create outfits which need nice legwear to complement them.
Mr Watson added that tights also act as a "good foil for this season's even more OTT shoes".
However, black opaques are not to be discarded, with Jess Cartner-Morley of the Guardian stating there is always room in a drawer for the hosiery as they will always be practical.
