Tights can help 'adjust summer fashions' to new season
A TV personality and upcoming style columnist with the Daily Mirror has spoken of the ways legwear can make a new outfit from older styles this autumn.

Tess Daly, the celeb bride of Vernon Kay, explained that she's suffering from SAD - "seasonal adjustment disorder" - and as a result, she's having to call in hosiery heroes to help her in the next phase of fashion.

However, she's surprisingly given the cold shoulder to opaque tights, instead telling ladies to "invest in some fashion-forward embellished legwear".

"Make your tights coloured, laddered, the wackier the better and wear them with a brogue, ankle boot or thigh-high boots and you'll be all set."

She added that an oversized cardigan can "go a long way" for an overall look this season, particularly when it's worn over a summer dress or shorts - after all, fashionistas in the current economic climate will undoubtedly want to recycle some of their investments from earlier in the year.

Tess' husband Vernon Kay wasn't in the star's good books recently, however, when he posted a bikini-clad picture of Tess on Twitter - despite the woman looking particularly great, particularly given she gave birth earlier in the summer.
