Black socks 'a must for business shoes'

A wardrobe black hole is not just the region where stray items end up never to be seen again, it is claimed.
Socks, usually just one of a pair of course, tend to be one of main things to go walkabout.
However, according to the Sydney Morning Herald's Mia Freedman, men in particular are guilty of another form of wardrobe black hole.
This is the inexplicable choice of white sports socks to wear with smart business wear and black shoes.
A pair of black cotton socks would be a much more suitable choice, Ms Freedman says.
"It's not at all fine and you're hurting the eyes of innocent people, so please stop with your black hole and buy some black socks for your black business shoes," she advises.
Meanwhile, another traditional fashion faux pas, wearing socks with sandals, seems to be coming into vogue.
