Shape wear 'a big trend in underwear design'

There is a growing trend in the fashion industry that is going to be a "big thing" over the next few seasons, it has been claimed.
So-called shape wear is the biggest thing in ladies underwear design, according to Dr Gillian Proctor, programme leader for Contour Fashion at De Montfort University.
"We all know that wearing fantastic lingerie underneath whatever you are wearing even if it is a pair of jeans makes you feel great," she said.
Ms Proctor pointed out that having the right underwear can make all the difference, suggesting that seduction requires lingerie to "does the job" but also has that "sensual factor" as well.
A recent survey from Gossard found that six out of ten men in the UK have ended up in trouble with their partner for buying them the wrong-sized underwear.
