FiveG Brand Guide

| Arguably Britain’s greatest Olympian, Sir Steve Redgrave, created FiveG in 2002. From 1984 to 2000 Sir Steve won five Gold medals in five successive Olympic Games. Since its launch, FiveG, has succeeded in delighting its customers by continuously delivering exceptional style, quality and value. A pivitol moment for the FiveG brand came in 2005. After being so concerned by the plight of the local people in Africa after his first visit in 2005, Sir Steve Redgrave has now devoted himself and FiveG, to source only Fairtrade cotton. In addition to Fairtrade guaranteeing that disadvantaged, developing world, small-scale cotton farmers receive a fair deal, FiveG, also raises funds for the Steve Redgrave Trust. “The real test was 175 miles cross country across the Marathon of Britain course…the socks held up to the fiercest of weather conditions as well as lasting up to 16 hours on my feet some days.” (Heidi Wilson, Ultra Marathon Runner, 2004) Please note, our FiveG range includes both the classic range of FiveG cotton socks alongside the more recent selection of FiveG Fairtrade Cotton socks. |
