Isotoner - Brand Guide at SockShop

The Isotoner story begun in 1910, originally called the Aris Glove Company.

After manufacturing fine quality leather gloves and knit accessories in Europe and later the United States, the Aris Glove Company combined the words isometric and toning and brought out the Isotoner glove. A nylon/spandex, leather trimmed glove with 4-way stretch and massaging features.

After this glove’s success Aris changed its name to ARIS » ISOTONER INC and became a subsidiary of Consolidated Foods (which is now the Sara Lee Corporation). Men’s Isotoner gloves were introduced, along with Isotoner Slippers.

It was in 1997 that  Totes and Isotoner merged to form the totes » ISOTONER Corporation.

One of the largest fashion accessory companies in the US, the UK subsidiary of totes» ISOTONER® Corporation has operations in North America, the UK, Scandinavia and throughout Europe.
