Being connected to heavy metal band Metallica can be something of a trial, apparently, as drummer Lars Ulrich has some specific demands regarding his footwear.
Speaking on Norwegian television, singer James Hetfield said it's a tie between Ulrich and lead guitarist Kirk Lee Hammett for who is the most high-maintenance member of the band, Skiddle.com reports.
And it's not just socks
- shoelaces need to be the right hue, the right fruits and vegetables need to be in their smoothies and the rockers even demand specific kinds of tea.
"I feel better when people are away from me and I can get into my own space; then Lars - he likes people plugging in his earphones, putting his socks
on, all of this stuff," the website reports Hetfield as saying.
Metallica was formed in 1981 and is rated as the fourth highest-selling band since SoundScan began tracking sales ten years later, with over 52 million albums sold in the US alone.Take a look at our Best Selling Mens Socks
