Brogues, 70s and 'Glamazonian' trends in this summer
Layering and bright colours will be the way to go this summer, one fashion blogger has said, as the weather is expected to be changeable and ladies should be prepared for anything.

Kate Williams, fashion writer at, said the 70s trend, with loose shapes and flared trousers, is also one to watch.

For the feet, ladies' socks should be paired with a pair of lace-up brogues, which not only look stylish but also keep you dry.

Ms Williams went on to say: "A pop colour mac hits the colour blocking trend, whilst still keeping bright in the summer months.

"A light asymmetric draped poncho or cape works the Glamazonian and 70s trends, and for festivals opt for Aztec prints."

According to a December article in Vogue, the spring/summer period is set to be a "riot of colour" this year - something ladies may want to keep in mind when choosing hosiery.
