Kids in Castleford have been getting creative with old clothes at half-term workshops.
The youngsters enjoyed an afternoon of Easter activities, which included making bunnies and chicks out of odd socks
and scraps of material, according to The Pontefract and Castleford Express.
Each of the small children got to make their own animal characters at the Sagar Street centre, with some steering away from seasonal characters.
Mandy Williams, who manages the centre, told the newspaper: "We started off making Easter bunnies but, as you can imagine with small children, it went off in a different direction and we ended up with a polar bear!"
The free workshop has also been teaching children how to make keyrings with faces on made from wool.
Due to its local success, as of April 19th it is being trialled as an hour-long after school art club for kids who love to get creative and learn new skills.
