David Beckham has not played competitively since an injury in March that meant he missed the World Cup in South Africa.
Now it seems that England manager Fabio Capello thinks he is too old to play for his country again and it looks like that the midfielder will not be seen with the three lions on his chest again.
Beckham, however, has different ambitions and is using a new advanced compression sock to aid his recovery.
Normally to be seen in a pair of knee high
, Beckham is using the GC Tech Medical Grade sports socks to improve blood flow to his feet.
Recently, aircraft passengers who have had some form of heart problem were recommended to wear compression flight socks
to aid blood flow and prevent deep vein thrombosis.
