A new clothing collection for men has been designed to help them to beat the bulge and suck in their beer bellies.
Inspired by women's body forming Spank knickers, the men's underwear
range from Asda now includes Bodysculpt trunks to accompany its Bodysculpt vest, which was launched in 2009.
Nicknamed 'Manx', the underpants promise to smooth out love handles, lift and firm male buttocks and suck in excess belly fat.
"We know some guys worry about unmanageable body wobbles just as much as women do, so why not offer them a little helping hand to look their best too?" claimed Heather Moreton, men's clothes manager for the supermarket chain.
has become a popular staple for many women to help them to create a slimmer silhouette and smooth unwanted curves, while it has also been immortalised on screen in the Bridget Jones movies.
