Radio 4's fridge full of socks?
Radio 4 staff have been faced with a conundrum of late, concerning who is storing odd items in the office fridge.

As well as the usual milk and packed lunches, journalists and production staff have found socks and tights on numerous occasions, according to the Daily Mail.

Other weird contents include a biography of Benjamin Disraeli, however socks have become the most recent problem.

Staff have reportedly sent emails round and left notes to try and get to the bottom of this legwear mystery, however the culprit is yet to be found.

While storing these items of clothing in the work fridge may be deemed inappropriate, many women keep tights in fridges at home to reduce the risk of laddering.

By freezing tights they can last longer and are less likely to catch on furniture and start to unravel.
