President Barack Obama and his family stepped out this weekend from the White House to St John's Episcopal Church today, holding hands and smiling through the cold winter temperatures.
Michelle and the girls displayed their love of legwear, with the first lady wearing a cream ensemble and black opaque tights.
Daughter Malia opted for a pair of maroon tights and a coral pink coat, while Sasha chose to wear purple tights and a smart black coat.
During the sermon, the Reverend Dr Luis Leon discussed Obama and argued that he would be an instigator of change in the US.
The Obama family have in the past been criticised for not attending church regularly, however since moving to Washington in 2009 they have attended several different services.
St John's Church opposite the White House has been visited by every president for at least one service since it was founded in 1815.
