Charlene in sheer tights in Monaco

Charlene in sheer tights in Monaco

Charlene Wittstock pulled on a pair of sheer tights as she joined husband Prince Albert II in delivering food parcels and gifts in Monaco on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old princess combined the tights with a pair of black heels, a thick black winter coat and a black dress underneath.

The annual event is an opportunity for the Royal couple to offer presents and gifts to some of the Principality's less fortunate residents, including children and the elderly.

Albert and Charlene spent the morning handing out parcels to youngsters at the Monaco Red Cross nursery.

The day before they were spotted at the Rainier III gerontology centre handing over food parcels to elderly residents.

In their first public appearance together since the Monegasque National Day on 19 November the couple did much to try and dispel the constant rumours that their marriage is in trouble, after the weekly news magazine L'Express revealed that Charlene had tried to leave Albert just days before their wedding in 2011.

3 last minute stocking fillers

3 last minute stocking fillers

With Christmas fast approaching the time to add some last minute gifts to the stocking of your loved ones this year is quickly running out.

So before you rush out and buy something totally inappropriate, here are three great last-minute stocking fillers that won't leave you embarrassed:

Scarves

If you are looking for a tasteful, yet seasonal, socking filler then why not make that gift a luxurious scarf? With so many different styles and patterns to chose from you are sure to find something that fits in with what you are looking for.

Hats

Hats, as opposed to scarves, can be a little more fun and tailored towards somebody's personality or character. The range in designs and styles means that this can be anything from a silly hat with tassels to something a little more serious.

Socks

Christmas does not seem right without at least one pair of festive socks hiding at the bottom of your stocking, so make sure that someone doesn't miss out this year by adding a pair to their collection of gifts.

Beatrice in black tight at service

Princess Beatrice pulled on a pair of black tights as she attended a Christmas Day service at St. Mary's Church on the grounds of Sandringham Estate on Christmas morning.

The 25-year-old opted for black tights, with a pair of black heels and a thick blue-grey coat as she appeared alongside her sister, Eugenie and other members of the family at the church service.

Not troubled by the ridicule that was thrown at her on social media during the wedding of her cousin William to Kate Middleton, Beatrice continued her fascination with fascinators, attaching one atop her head.

Eugenie on the other hand opted for a black hat, black coat and black shoes, but also added a touch of colour to her outfit by opting to wear a red dress underneath.

Other members of the Royal Family that attended the service included the Queen, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Zara Phillips.

Poehler in tights for Anchorman

Amy Poehler pulled on a pair of tights for the premiere of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in New York on Sunday night.

The comedienne combined the tights with a pair of black heels and a spotted grey dress.

Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner all return to the screen as Ron Burgundy, Brick Tamland, Brian Fontana and Champ Kind - with Vince Vaughn also reprising his role as Wes Mantooth.

The Saturday Night Live star made a brief cameo in Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie, which was comprised of outtakes and unused footage from the original Anchorman film and featured as a DVD extra.

Reports earlier this year suggested that a similar fate may await the second edition as director Adam McKay hopes to fit 250 new jokes into the alternative release.

Helen Flanagan pulled on some long socks for the PETA charity event in Covent Garden on Wednesday.

The actress combined the knee socks with a festive red dress and similarly Christmassy red heels for the photo call.

The 23-year-old joined the campaign to encourage shoppers not to buy fur products this Christmas.

"Fur is cruel and gruesome, and it belongs squarely in Christmas' past," she told the Daily Mirror.

"With all the wonderful stylish, fur-free designs available today, it's never been easier to celebrate with Christmas gifts that are as kind as they are chic."

This is not the first PETA campaign that Flanagan has got involved with. Earlier this year she stripped off and had scales painted over her body to highlight the use of exotic animal skins in the fashion industry, posing underneath the slogan "Exotic skins belong in the Jungle: Leave wildlife out of your wardrobe".

She joins a number of other celebrities who have posed nude to highlight PETA's campaigns against exotic animal skins, fur and eating meat.
