Veteran TV presenter Angela Rippon pulled on a pair of dark tights as she lined up on the red carpet at the Hilton Hotel in London for the Sky Women in Film & Television awards.
The 69-year-old pulled a black dress over her dark tights, adding a colourful red and gold floral jacket over the top. She topped off her outfit with a pair of sensible heeled shoes.
Rippon wasn't the only celebrity spotted in tights at the event, with Lesley Sharp, MJ Delaney, Dr Dawn Harper and Tamsin Greig all opting to wrap their legs up against the cold.
The former BBC Nine O'Clock News presenter was honoured with a lifetime achievement gong at the awards ceremony on Friday night.
Rippon also recently fronted a campaign by the Alzheimer's Society against dementia alongside actor Kevin Whatley, comedian and presenter Tony Robinson and Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan.
Other big winners at the event included actress Sheridan Smith, who scooped the best performance award, while Cambridge University professor and historian Mary Beard won the best presenter gong after her acclaimed historical series, Meet the Romans.
