American Airlines prioritises socks
Plane operator American Airlines obviously has its priorities right after it announced the launch of its new in-flight amenity kits, including lovely legwear.

The company stated that alongside larger-sized cosmetic products, lip balm, better quality toothbrushes and Colgate toothpaste, it would be making its socks thicker and more comfortable.

Lauri Curtis, the vice-president of onboard services at American Airlines, said the company constantly looked to better ways to improve its facilities and the new kits will be rolled out this week, socks included.

She continued: "The redesigned amenity kit, thanks to input from our customers and flight attendants, includes premium products our customers value, like Burt's Bees, which more closely meet their needs."

Each day, American Airlines transports 270,000 passengers, receives over 239,000 reservations calls and charters around 3,300 flights.
