Women wanting to look as sassy and sexy as possible in their legwear of choice have been urged to get themselves some printed ones, whether they're leggings, tights or stockings.

That's because those who wear certain styles can get a remarkable amount in return for their adoption of patterns and florals, with the latter being particularly beneficial.

Eliza Scarborough of the Daily Mail said: "Large prints give the impression of a greater surface area, so avoid if you are of a more generous physique and stick to smaller patterns. The smaller the print, the smaller the frame appears to the untrained eye."

She added that if legwear is to be the main focus of this, always stick to just having those as the one printed garment of choice and keep the rest of the outfit plain, allowing individuals to feel as free to go as gaudy and bold as they like but reining it in with block colours.

Last week, the Associated Press revealed that socks mean a lot more to certain people than others, with a number of stars lined up to compete in the Vancouver-based Winter Olympics admitting to having favoured undergarments going into the competition.
