Comedienne Sarah Silverman pulled on a pair of knee-high socks for the 3rd Annual Sean Penn & Friends HELP HAITI HOME Gala at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday evening.
The 43-year-old combined the black knee socks with a black jumper, a short black skirt and a pair of black wedge-heeled pumps.
Her dark hair was worn loose around her shoulders and her pink lipgloss and blusher added the only hints of colour in the ensemble.
The event raised almost $6 million (£3.65m) for the J/P Haitian Relief Organisation, which aims to provide emergency care and sustainable shelter and education to the Caribbean nation in the wake of the 2010 earthquake.
Silverman has apparently taken a liking for knee socks this month having been spotted at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas last week rocking a similar pair of socks while she unveiled Cisco's latest concept, The Internet of Things.
