British songstress Birdy pulled on a pair of black tights as she rocked up to the BRIT Award nominations event at ITV Studios, on the South Bank, London on Thursday night.
The 17-year-old combined the tights with a pair of black heeled boots and a floral shorts and top combo for the event.
Birdy has been nominated for the best British Female Solo Artist award, and will face stiff competition from the likes of Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Laura Marling and Laura Mvula.
The Hampshire singer shot to fame following her 2011 self-titled debut album that included a number of covers, most famously, 'Shelter' by The xx, 'Skinny Love' by Bon Iver and 'The District Sleeps Alone Tonight' by The Postal Service.
Rival for the British Female Solo Artists award, Jessie J, also flaunted her style on the red carpet, opting for a pair of fishnet style socks to go with her little black dress.
Bastille and Disclosure were the most nominated artists this year, receiving recognition in four categories including British Breakthrough Act, British Group, British Single, and British Album of the Year.
However both will face stern opposition in the British Group and British Album of the Year categories from one of the most powerful bands in the world right now, Sheffield's own, Arctic Monkeys.
