Actress Miranda Richardson had a night to remember at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards last night.
The 56-year-old actress, who later picked up the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film, arrived on the red carpet in style. She turned up to the Mayfair hotel in Central London wearing a striking blue velvet dress and black tights .
And to top off the outfit, she had a matching jacket, broach and ribboned shoes. Her hair was scooped up into a bun, while she also wore blue eyeshadow and bold eyeliner.
Richardson, who starred in the hit series The Hours, was one of a number of stars who went home happy. The Attenborough Award for British Film of the Year went to Under The Skin, with director Jonathan Glazer on hand to collect the prize.
Also at the awards were Boyhood director Richard Linklater and Timothy Spall, who has received glowing praise for his role in Mr Turner.
