Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones is much more likely to be spotted in some slinky stockings or some fashionable hosiery than a pair of wrinkled old tights, she asserts.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, the actress, who is 38-years-old, said that she is not planning to embrace Nora Batty-esque wrinkly stockings
anytime soon, adding: "I haven't actually reached my sexiest point yet."
Ms Zeta-Jones also stated that being married to an older man, 63-year-old Michael Douglas, does not make her feel any more middle-aged, noting: "I'm not going to be playing old grannies any time soon."
Meanwhile, TV presenter Esther Rantzen recently admitted she has abandoned her much-loved fishnet stockings
in favour of some more mature hosiery
Speaking to the Scotsman, Esther said that when she was younger she had loved fishnet legwear
as it was "exotic" and "slightly wicked" but the 68-year-old donned her favorite tights
for the last time after wearing them for a shoot with Closer magazine well into her 60s.
