Runners normally take a great amount of care deciding on a decent pair of trainers or spikes, but choosing the perfect pair of running socks
is not so well-documented.
According to running-mad Angie Ferguson of Florida's news-press.com, socks
are as integral to a runner's performance as a proper pair of shoes.
"Choosing the wrong pair of socks
can lead to an uncomfortable run, sweaty feet, blisters and a week or more of recovery," she explains.
"As a coach and a runner, I recommend that you give as much thought to choosing your socks
as you do your running shoes."
She adds that many runners still opt for poor quality socks
over good pair of cottonsocks
One runner who no doubt has a pretty good idea of which socks
to buy is 100-metre world-record holder Usain Bolt, who recently said that he would not run in the UK next month because of tax reasons. Check out our Best Sellers
