Whether it is to iron out differences between some of the top players or to chip away at the leaders' advantage, it seems some of the challengers at US Women's Open golf championship donned knee highgolf socks
for the 65th edition of the event.
Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine sported the golf socks
at the Oakmount course in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Yokomine managed to finish a respectable joint tenth, while Miyazato was way down in a share for 31st.

are fashionable, while also helping with circulation and keeping the muscles fresh, Golf Digest reports.
Paula creamer from the US won the event in a pair of white ankle-high pop-socks
trimmed with pink to match the rest of her outfit. Socks make the perfect gift
