The excitement over the upcoming Olympic Games seems to be building, however worries over the weather could threaten to dampen spirits.
This week British volleyball Olympian Shauna Mullin revealed that despite being renowned for wearing skimpy uniforms, the women's volleyball team may need to cover up to combat the cold.
She told the Sunday Times: "Once the temperature drops below 16 degrees C we are allowed to wear long leggings
and long sleeved tops."
The temperature in London has been below this throughout July, with rain occurring most days in the capital.
However, a spokesman for Volleyball England said that it was up to the players to decide whether they want to cover up.
Tickets for the matches have been among the most sought after of the Games, with the government spending £26,000 on buying 400 beach volleyball passes for MPs and civil servants.
