A sock manufacturer in the US has unveiled what is being referred to as the world's most expensive pair of socks.
Sensoria Fitness has developed a pair of knitted socks with a built-in smart fabric sensor that is designed to help keep you active.
The socks, which cost a whopping $119 a pair, can be wirelessly linked to iPhones or Android operated mobile phones through an ankle bracelet that helps to give you a read out of how active you are, along with other stats which are invaluable for keen runners.
However, those that prefer not to run with their mobile on them can still access all the data from home.
Sensoria also say that the socks are machine washable so you won't have to worry about pongy feet ruining your training regime.
Runners that require a more sensibly priced pair of socks should check out the wide range of brands and style that are available online at Sockshop.
