Men 'should be wary of choosing the right colour socks'
Choosing the right coloured socks to match their ensemble is a must for fashion-forward males, it has emerged.

Writing for the Deccan Herald, Rachna Bisht-Rawat notes that teaming white socks with dark shoes and trousers is a fashion faux pas, adding "The cardinal rule is - white socks with white shoes and dark socks with dark shoes."

The reporter also states that men should remember a sloppy look will not impress the opposite sex.

Meanwhile, online resource Vancouver 24 hours suggests that pairing socks with sandals is also not the way to a woman's heart.

A BBC survey highlights that 38 per cent of women see this fashion statement as a no, no, reports the news provider.

"You could see Brad Pitt, a really good-looking guy, but if he's wearing sandals and socks, the good looks kind of diminish," explains Solange Bernard, marketing director for BBC Canada.
