US Airways has come under fire from passengers and the media this week for allowing a cross-dressing man to fly, despite wearing a very revealing outfit.
The white haired man boarded the plane wearing electric blue women's knickers and a matching cropped top, accompanied by thigh-high black stockings
and stiletto heels.
Passengers complained about his inappropriate outfit, however US Airways allowed him to stay seated, as according to a spokeswoman the airline does not have a dress code policy.
She claimed: "Obviously, if their private parts are exposed, that's not appropriate. So if they're not exposing their private parts, they're allowed to fly."
Only a few days later University of New Mexico football player Deshon Marman sparked questions on the airlines rules regarding clothing, after being removed from a flight for not pulling his trousers up to sit on his waist.
