A fundraising mum has praised the support she has received after revealing plans to shave off all of her hair.
Katrina Thompson told local newspapers earlier this month that she is preparing to lose her locks for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Hartlepool Mail reports that her fundraising has rocketed to an estimated £268, and she hopes to hit her target of £300 by this weekend, when she completes her charity venture.

The 41-year-old Hartlepool mother will be having he head shaved at a salon this Sunday by hairdressers as well as her own family members.
She also added that she is helping the charity as she recently chose to become a registered boarder for the Association’s dogs.
