Graduate Fashion Week showcases modern-day armour look

London's Graduate Fashion Week has come to a close after four days of epic fashion hitting the catwalk.

One designer whose work stood out was that of 22-year-old Shan-Liao Huang, of Shih Chien University in Taiwan, who showcased both mens and womenswear during the event.

Shan-Liao's androgynous collection was inspired by the army and exuded grey tones and oversized pieces throughout to create a look of modern armour.

One model took to the catwalk wearing a distressed outfit, completed with pulled up black socks and metal features including metal boots and a metal cage bag.

The event saw graduates' work from 42 universities from around the world. Shan-Liao Huang won the award for Best International Collection.

The event was held at the Truman Brewery in London and saw several fashion-forward celebrities attend, such as Sam Faeirs, Amy Willerton and Diana Vickers.
