Revellers ready for wet Glastonbury

Glastonbury festival fashion is going to be pushed to the limit once again this year with heavy rain set to descend on the popular music festival.

Expect to see plenty of knee high socks with wellies and ankle socks with sturdy shoes as downpours soak revellers over the course of the five-day event.

Hats will also be out in force to protect against the wet weather as some of the biggest names in the music industry take to the stage in the muddy fields near the village of Pilton in Somerset.

Heavy metal outfit Metallica, indie band Arcade Fire and rockers Kasabian will be the three headline acts, while the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Jack White, The Black Keys, Lily Allen, Ed Sheeran and a host of others will also be performing.

The wet forecasts means umbrellas and disposable raincoats are also likely to be common sights in the crowd. Good luck!
