Venus Williams has suggested she will be rebelling against the 'all-white' clothing rule at this year's Wimbledon.
The tennis ace tweeted that while she may be wearing Wimbledon whites, including all visible clothing such as socks , top and skirt, she will be brightening up her clothing with colourful underwear.
According to official guidelines, all garments of clothing that are visible must be white with only a single trim of colour - no wider than 1cm - and florescent colours are not allowed.
The former world number one, who missed last year's tournament and was knocked out in the first round in 2012, began her bid to bag the title for this year's competition on Monday.
She successfully made it through to the second round after beating Spain's María Teresa Torró-Flor 6-4 4-6 6-2.
Serena Williams, Venus' younger sister, will take on Anna Tatishvili on Centre Court for their first round match on Tuesday evening.
