Gordon Brown should be putting on his socks
before his trousers, according to one writer who keeps seeing photographs of one leg of the prime minister's apparel tucked into his footwear.
Hugo Rifkind, writing for the Times, says he has lost track of the amount of times he has seen the prime minister committing the sartorial faux pas.
Mr Brown may take on the writer's advice and consider putting on his pair of patterned socks
, or whatever type of footwear he enjoys donning, a little more carefully.
The writer comments: "It could be a hip-hop look, but you're not really a hip-hop kinda guy.
"Really, you look like you've got a hole in your pocket."
He adds that putting on socks before trousers is a trick that works every time.
In recent news, a blind man who was given a form of bionic eye is now able to see well enough to sort out his own socks
, something that the prime minister may need help with.
