The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a low-key and warm outfit for a St. Patrick's Day parade in at wet and miserable Aldershot on Sunday.
Recycling the same emerald green Emilia Wickstead coat that she wore at last year's event, she combined this with a conservative black hat, gloves, shoes, warm black tights and a polo neck, neatly finished off with a shamrock brooch.
However, her heeled court shoes caused her some bother as she became entangled in a drain while at the parade of soldiers from the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Aldershot barracks.
The Duchess was joined at the event by the Duke of Cambridge, who was dressed in full ceremonial dress for the Irish Guards as part of his role as a colonel in the battalion.
Both Royals were garnished with a spring of shamrock, with Kate fixing a new sprig to the collar of Domhnall, a seven-month-old Irish wolfhound, who is the battalion's official mascot.
